Our daughter, Laila A. Hinton is 3 yrs. old and has been attending Avalon Academy for almost 1 year. She is currently a part of the pre-school program and although she is one of the youngest students, her teachers (Miss Giselle, Miss Abby and Miss Jocey ) ensure she is comfortable and fully integrated. Also, as Laila is a quieter child, her teachers strategically assigned her a seat with a student that was more extroverted and talkative; which has really assisted with Laila’s language and social skills blossoming.

Apart from the stellar teachers, the program itself is fantastic. It is very diverse, with imaginative play, basic preschool concepts (tracing, alphabet, numbers, etc.)with weekly homework, art, dance, yoga and music sessions. She is a completely different child. At the holiday show we were expecting Laila to be shy and she was the exact opposite!!! Her transformation has truly been a pleasure to witness. She looks forward to school every day and at times she doesn’t want to leave when we come to pick her up. We are so very pleased with her development, progress and most notably the quality of care and attention she receives from her teachers and the entire Avalon Academy family. I use the word family purposefully here, the atmosphere is incredibly warm and loving; highly recommended.
